Nate Dogg R.I.P.

According to Billboard.com via the Long Beach Press-Telegram, Nate Dogg has died at the age of 41. Not alot of information about the death at this time. Best known as a hip hop background / hook singer, Nate will be missed by hip hop fans. He has had many great collaborations with artists such as Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Eminem, Tupac, Warren G, Twista Mobb Deep and many more.  Nate Dogg made his debut on Dr. Dre's Chronic which was definitely in my top 5 hip hop albums of all time. In his career, he has featured in and contributed to over 40 chart singles.

Winter Workout Mix (Yo! I'm podcasting)

Ok, so I started a new account at PodOmatic so I could stream/share mixes. I used to love SoundCloud but recently they have rejected some of my uploads (those annoying copyright laws). Anyways I plan on putting out new mixes on a regular basis and posting em here so stay tuned.

Until then, I will share some mixes from the past. This mix was originally recorded Dec 2010 to listen to at the gym. I liked it so I decided to give out some copies as a promo. Genre: uptempo, pop, house

Who Killed Biggie Smalls?

On March 8, 1997, Biggie presented an award at the 11th Annual Soul Train Music Awards in Los Angeles. After the ceremony, Wallace attended an after party hosted by Vibe magazine and Qwest Records at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles. On March 9, 1997, at around 12:30 a.m., Wallace left with his entourage in two GMC Suburbans to return to his hotel after the Fire Department closed the party early because of overcrowding.

By 12:45 a.m., the streets were crowded with people leaving the event. Wallace's truck stopped at a red light 50 yards from the museum. A black Chevrolet Impala pulled up alongside Wallace's truck. The driver of the Impala, an African American male dressed in a blue suit and bow tie, rolled down his window, drew a 9 mm blue-steel pistol and fired at the GMC Suburban; four bullets hit Wallace in the chest. Wallace's entourage rushed him toCedars-Sinai Medical Center, but he was pronounced dead at 1:15 a.m.

Wallace's murder remains unsolved and there are many theories regarding the identities and motives of the murderers.
